Just tossing around the idea at this stage. If anyone knows where we can get some cheap printing done, that would naturally assist....

What the uk forum did if im not mistaken is peoples from their forum sent piccies in of their own cars and they made the calender that way

Why not try the same thing, im sure u can get 12 hot looking ftos out of all the members here, you could post them up and members could vote on their choice of the best 5 or ten, rank the best 12 and bobs your uncle a calender

Also It may or may not appeal to all members to have the chicks posing in the photos, so i guess u could vote on that as well, and if it is decided that their will be chicks, then the owners of the cars that gets selected will have to organise themselves.

Anyways just some of my thoughts

Cheers
Dimi

Ps i am all for having chicks in the calender

Personally, I would go without the girls, but only because I will get killed by my other half!!!

But yeah - I am sure that there are some good photo's of FTO's out there - but it is the quality of the photo as much as the car that makes the difference.

Hey I have a contact in the printing industry who should be able to help you out. He would need to know things like size, paper type, binding type, quantity etc but if you could get as much info to me as poss I could get a decent quote...

Well it's good to have girls in there.. but I rather just a nice pic of a FTO with a nice background and focus the attention on just one thing 8)

I'm in the printing industry and also happen to be the guy that does all the quotes. First thing we should be doing is seeing if someone from the club wants to volunteer the graphic design side... designers tend to be pricey!!! If the idea gets the green light i'll see if i can call in a few favors as well to keep the unit cost down

 of the girls or the cars?

i agree though... i reckon 1 group shot per state (plus NZ???)
then everyone can submit their own entries (set a close date)
committee narrows the field to a top 30
and an online vote to see which ones are used :D

...and hide the vote results so no-one knows til
they get their hands on the finished product!!!
