Which bulb to use?

Post by Nacho »

Has anyone ever changed their rear indicator lightbulbs? Can you get these from anywhere?

More importantly do they come in orange?

If not, does anyone recommend any other alternatives? The really important thing is that they're orange.

don't have to be orange, it's just a big light blub ... not as big as the one you use at home but half the size of that ... they're extremely cheap, a few bucks max for one?

No point using orange or brighter ones unlese it's REALLY bright cause you won't see any difference anyway

Sorry I forgot to mention that I just got a set of Project F taillights and the indicator part is clear so it doesn't shine orange.

So it actually needs to be orange.

You will need a circuit board if you going to use LED indicators.

$1400..........I don't actually know how much they're really worth though but since they were under $2k I was pretty happy and they look really good.

I'm not really after better globes or lights or anything coz I don't really give a toss about indicator lights.

All I really need is to make it orange just so it won't attract too much attention from the cops.

Does anyone know how many watts those lights currently pump out?

As soon as someone starts selling them, make sure you jump straight on it and back it up with $$$.

They're a lot lighter than the stock headlights.

Speaking of lights, did anyone end up trying the "Best Headlight Upgrade For Under $50" in the DIY section?

Any feedback on how effective it is? How legal it is? Any known problems?
