some pics from Autosalon '06 in Melb

ok I took lots but here were a few that I actualy liked...I was suprised about how many sh*t cars there were there...some really poor paint jobs (and I don't mean color) I mean quality...although watching a supa get 540 atw in the dyno comp was impressive (and it came 2nd I think)

yeh i agree chris (i think i walked past you outside of the entrance area) but it has been 10 years since i saw u last!

that rx - 7 was close to my favourite.... but overall i wasnt that keen on many cars.

the models were just wrong... especially that chick pulling her shorts down so 100 guys could take a pic of her thong! bad bad bad.

yeha that was the problem , u were so hot and it made me shy lol.

it was a very quick walk by and i was with 3 other blokes. wasnt 100% sure, but thought it might be u.

I guess these are just some of the reason why people had lost interest on Autosalon. The RX7 had been there almost every yr, just different interior.

Itâ€™s good for kiddies & may arouse those who haven't been to Autosalon before, but for most who been their, its kind of more disappointing year after year.

Even thought its good to promote a business & clubs, but there are so many new shows these days like GLO, Show & Shine, Drift Comp, SPL Comp, Autosalon just don't cut it anymore, as they don't attract the right type of customer for some business & clubs.

Anyway that Black FTO with Playboy Bunny & red wiper, which club did she enter with? If I'm not wrong, I remember it had a SAFC problem last yr.

And i guess we see Max's ride after the show is over right Chris

private entry, my car spot was just behind her,
unfortunately, it was raped by some old FORD, as I wasnt there.
The black FTO was in really bad shape, the headlights were pealing big time, had a hit from the front, nothing was lining up.

yeah the black FTO needed some work done to it...mine would have been better..not sure which club it was apart of.

yeah that chick was like the best one I saw...pitty that pick doesn't show her that well..!! hehe

yeah would love to see Max' car...get soem pics etc...we should hook up or something next week.

God! there were some ugly birds there!!!
Have you seen that ambulance thing that had like 30+ subs in it, crazy....
Also I havent seen a single person with MTX Audio setup, obvously it is not known in Aus, highly respected in US,
i have to get in to putting all these MTX subs into the booth as a new project, 3 of them...

It's car like this that give FTO bad name. For god sake if you going to enter a car show, at least make sure your car looks the part for the basic stuff. I saw it at a workshop & thatâ€™s how I know it had a problem with the SAFC.

I just hope she not going to put on sale now with the "Autosalon 06 Competitor" line.

As its been a very typical marketing line for "Scrap Metal"

That ambulance is by Cadence, once again, its there for the past 2yrs. MTX is very well know for those into Audio. So good choice Max.

I cant believe my luck with the auction which was selling the MTX stuff,
Bought the full system,
As well as full stinger wiring and capasitor,
I end up scoring this capasitor, the rrp was $499 on it, and I bought for $59,
plus platinum connectors, platinum distribution units, pop stoppers, 4Ga STINGER multi amp wirings you name it,
It will be bit of a work to put all these stuff in

yeah... i was there saturday, is it just me or are most of the "models" there hookers?
(no need to answer that question on the Gotham City club!)
that black fto was a disgrace... don't they have a minimum requirement for entry?!?!

With the new addition of Bikes this time it made for some VERY interesting displays!!! This particular one was outstanding! A full body spray job of a dragon and a bottle of NOS on the side (NOS on a bike..... cant go wrong

It was an ok auto-salon, obviously not as big as the finals, but still always fun =)

the dodge viper had hydrolic suspension ..it was on a wierd angle also. Just behind it was a ferrair and a M3...I chatted to the M3 guy for a bit and looked at his dyno....lol it was worse than my R33...heheh he said he was sonna supercharge the M3 and get 300atw...now thats some power....look out for him next year...

lol that guy lives down the road form me...I have raced him so many times in my FTO....he is always behind me turning into Canturbury Rd going into Heathomont on Sat night after I have been to Glen Waverly...non-turbo...no wonder he never have it a go properly...he was scared.
