Car broken into!

Post by payaya »

Hey all my FTO got broken into just before. Professionals for sure!
They took my sony deck and stock stacker! Lucky they only took that.

But the way they opened the car was interesting. They didnt brake
one window but i think stuck a screwdriver into the side of the door
handle housing and did something i dont know what. Then they opened
the bonnet and cut the alarm siren wire!

They broke my center console plastic ( the bit that goes around gear
stick, and around stereo) and door handle.

So ill need these two so anyone selling these parts or anything?

thanks

ill post pictures soon.

Sorry to heat that.
 You may try JUST JAP in Kirrawee(sorry dont have the contact number handy) to get those stuff. I visited them few weeks ago, they have got dismantled parts for FTO.
Hope this can help you.

yea, lock barrels are interchangable so you should only need the plastic surround if thats whats damaged. You should be able to DIY if you are handy with a tool kit.

Give Collins Mitsubishi in Southbank a call. They often stock FTO parts.

i have 2 sirens in my car one is a sacraficial one (in the engine bay) the second one is hidden away and very hard to get at. so if someone does try to tamper with the alarm system to stop it working (i.e. a hammer) the second siren goes off.
