275 pounds! f**k off! i made my own BMW style steering mounted buttons a while back, they worked but i couldnt get the wiring right so that when i turned the wheel it didnt twist around itself.... so i got sick of it and gave up. might have a go at making my own paddle shift, but 275 pounds is bullshit, thats like $650!!!! come on!

EDIT: price got worse!

Hmmm pretty interesting, infact its so interesting i've send them an email asking if this product will work with aftermarket steering wheel as they use bozz kit & also if the paddle comes in different size for those got smaller steering wheel.

Hope i get a feed back soon ehehhe

Dam i just remember i forgot to ask if the paddle move with the steering wheel or its stationary. If its stationary you won't get confuse which paddle is which when you doing a quick turn to turn that involve full lock. I guess you can always label it though.

We can provide a kit to suit Momo wheel, with appropriate paddle size as we
are the manufacturer.
It is also available in polished or brushed aluminium or carbon fibre.

i tought i saw a tutorial somewhere to have the tip buttons on the wheel. considered doing that kev? your wheel is perfect for that except u wont have a horn button i guess

haahaha yes that path been said & try before. I had a solution for the horn button, but that involve drilling a hole in the steering wheel, which something i don't want to do. Plus the paddles would look good with my steering wheel.

But I would change the paddle into a more molded (3D) feel. The paddles on those are too thin/flat/plan in my opinion.

yeah i think that was me, i sort of half did it, i didnt drill holes in the steering wheel i made up a pair of brakets.... ill see if i can dig it up again.

I don't think the wiring is a big deal and been thinking about doing it myself...my issue is making or getting nice paddles...

the tip uses some switches to trigger the change..I think in 1hr i could work it out...depending on the the way u go i assume u simply wire these in series with the existing swicthes..thats what is looks like to me.

some1 make a bracket and the paddels..i will do the other bit...or give u a simple guide.

The thing I would like to see is the "spring" action of the paddle. If I can see that in person, Iâ€™m sure we can fabricate it.

Maybe we chip in & get one & then make a better version out of it

I am sure some people in the FTOOC have done this before, even fabricated their own paddles.

Now I'm gonna be the noob and ask the stupid question.

What exactly does this do? Once you put it in "Sports Mode" does it let you change gears from buttons on the steering wheel?
