HOT4's FTO

Post by cb »

Ok does anyone on here know of or own this FTO

http://www.carsales.com.au/please/carsales ... istance=25

It made it into HOT4's magazine IMO I dont exactly see what they see in it like its paint job is good (not a fan of pink but still) It's spoiler is disgusting mags are worse.

I know, but times have changed and I'm sure that if you were to pick up a HOT4's today you wouldn't be so impressed.

Sure the workmanship in the vehicles is good, but my golly their taste is hard to take.

    Bagging

    Post by dstocks »

Dont get me wrong. I have no problem with bagging out the pink FTO, im thinking its vomit personified. All I know is that many years ago I sunk a fortune into a GD Galant, and all I have left is the article....

Oh and havent bought the mag since, so wouldnt have a clue whats in it now!.

Gee - contact Sandra. Do ya think it's a girls car???

And really, it's not that bad IMO. At least it is has been well looked after and hasn't been terribly overdone. Much better than seeing a run down daily driver FTO that hasn't seen either a sponge or an oil change in 12 months.

Don't mind the colour - cause I'm not about to respray mine to look the same....

Now the FTO with that ridiculous rear spoiler on the other thread - that is appalling taste!!!

So you like the pink hey Shaun :?: You could do your interior that colour...

Personally, wouldnt be seen dead in that one, and its too overdone for me. The spoiler is a real spoiler if you get my drift...

        its a showcar not a blend-in daily driver :)

i think its home would be in a large stadium/room with other cars like it and a trophy or 2, and a copy of the HOT 4's magazine it was in sitting next to it...if you want it for a daily driver u'd wanna maybe 'edit' the spoiler and the colour etc

nothin wrong with HOT4's/Autosalon/ricermags magazines...they would have made for a much more interesting read than the 'unique cars' magazine i bought the other day :(

The only thing I like about that FTO is its front bumper, I have been looking for one, I e-mailed DMD but they never replied.
