FTO Mod Help!!!

Post by ruffryders_sohaib »

hiya,
Im from UK and have been told that you guys in Australia have a lot of knowledge and may be able to help me out with a few questions

my mate has a gto twin turbo and blew his engine
he got another one fitted and now has a blown gto twin turbo engine in his garden (think its pistons blew but not sure)
i was wondering a few things,

1) would his engine fit into my car, if i had the bits repaired on it?
2) would his turbos fit on my car? how much would it cost to have this done, using 2nd hand parts.
3) could i fit both the turbos to have a twin turbo fto?

If this matters his is on a J plate and mine is on an N

Please help me out here will it work, are there ANY performance gains i can get from his engine?

Thanks in advance

GTO engine (6G72) will NOT fit in an FTO by a long shot. The 6G72 motor is far to big...

Any turbo can be made to fit any car... what type of turbos are you talking about? Factory ones?

If you've got the cash why don't you just put an evo engine in, easiest way to go
The difference between what we do and what we are capable of doing would suffice to solve most of the world's problem.
