Car looks like 4WD Help!!!

Hi Got myself new 18" wheels but the car looks like a 4WD and I think I need to get it lowered ... how much is lowering the car ??? Any place in Syd that does it cheap??

You can pay any suspension workshop to just torch your springs so the car sags, will cost you maybe 20bux or something. Not a good idea though.

Proper lowering springs will cost you about 200bux (i think that's how much atreyu paid recently). Any suspension place (pedders etc.) can do this for you.

low profile tyres and lower it, get king springs or apex

So its around $200 to lower the car??? is that with labour charge or just the springs?? Does any suspension place have king springs??

200 for like a budget set of springs, their is heaps of dif ones all with diff prices.

i would recommend King, if u got the cash, their like $400 bucks, but ull never have any dramas

    Yeah I rate the Kings. Apex are good too (what I've got) and Pedders also do a good spring. Average lowering spring will bring the front down 2 inches & the rear 1.5 inches. Some more than others. As mentioned $200 is a good price to purchase a set. $100 labour ought get them in for you.

    I'd also recommend a wheel alignment after your done too :wink:

    around $200 to get the springs, I fitted KingSprings to my mates 89 Honda prelude, I think they were about $89 a spring, they really stiffen up your ride.

    I might stick KingSprings on my FTO when I save some money, I will do a DIY.

    Cool Thanx guys for your help I'll probably get king springs off ebay and go to local suspension place and get it done :D
