And Chris I can't believe you missed this but - CHECK YOUR TYRE PRESSURES REGULARLY!
Take it somwhere and get a layer of wax every month? Sounds good to me, cos right now I wash it twice a week.. lol anything to keep it clean and sparkling lol.. althought washing it TOO much is kinda bad for the paint!

As an avid car washerer I can confidently say you can never wash your car too much. And plenty of wax will prolong the life of your paintjob.
For the best shine Meguiars 3 step thing is pretty awesome. It will give you an awesome shine but it doesn't last that long. After a month it needs another coat. This is a scam to make to keep buying thier products. I think it's worth it for the shine though.
Cheaper stuff like NuFinish will keep your car beeding for a year yes but the shine is no way near as good. If you wash your car at least once a week (which you all should) then once a month for a polish isn't gonna hurt. Anyway what's better than putting your hands all over the curves of an FTO???

Hehe well yes.
Actually it's not too bad. It's called the Deep Crystal System and it'll cost you from memory around $20 each bottle but after the first two applications you wont use them again for probably a year I'd say. Cos' once your up to the third step (Carnauba Wax) if you keep doing that once a month your paintjob stays in tiptop shape. This is of course presuming your looking after your car and washing it etc. at least once a week.
If you neglect your car then you'd be looking at applying all three steps every few months.
My car beads really nice now. So much so that after it rains I can just hose of the dirty rain and then dry the car with my chamois and she's right as rain... no wait... good as gold.
