Wreckers are the best bet as the original Mitsu item is quite expensive.Does anyone know where i can acquire one and also a rough price estimate?
Sorry, did mine a couple of years ago and don't exactly remember the prices involved. (think it was $150 from the wreckers and $500 from Mitsu)
If you can afford to have your car off the road apparently you can get one made out of better quality materials at a radiator shop and it is still cheaper than a Mitsu item.
There is some info on the Pommie site as it seems to be quite a regular occurence over there.
Cheers

Dash may have to come out and aircon may need to be disconnected.......How much would installation be,if anyone knows?
I know mine took a days labour and some new air con gas, but it beats having a stinky interior, wet feet and an overheating engine.
Apparently there is a way to avoid taking the dash out.......
Dr Jones (QLD Member) seems to be quite practised in heater core removal.

Cheers
