RPM highest speed in 1st gear
Just a quick question, i have a 1995 FTO GPX, and my RPM dial doesnt work, so its a bit hard to judge how high i can go in first gear with out screwing something up, generally it starts screaming at 50-60 kz an hour so i cahnge the gear, anyone know what speed there doing in first when it gets to about 7500RPM (before you have to change to 2nd with out redlining it?
Thanks!
Thanks!

The difference between what we do and what we are capable of doing would suffice to solve most of the world's problem.

hahaaha yeah i wish, but if you read the other post, i only get 450km in a tank.mxysxy wrote:I reckon your car does 600+ kms with a full tank as well Kev?
But yeah i do have a few mods, so i guess thats how i get 80km at 8200rpm. Like said before i also reached 9200rpm or 9500rpm (can't remember now) & 192kmph on a dyno.

i've post it around few times already, so it shouldn't be hard to find the list.
I might have change few things here & there since then, but nothing major.

I've got a stock engine and it usually gets to around 75km/h before the auto computer shifts.
I gotta weird question actually...........apparently the tip boxes shift automatically when you get to redline even when you're in tip mode. That's what I heard anyway. Mine doesn't do that and will actually let me redline. Any idea why?

Nope, it definitely bounces of the rev limiter (which can be a bit embarassingNacho wrote:I've got a stock engine and it usually gets to around 75km/h before the auto computer shifts.
