Yep its one of those, I did tell him its a mivec controller, & its the same as the other Pat got (Mivecboy is also Pat).

I know you try to save money mate, but by doing setting with your old first gen AFC & Mivec controller without dyno tune is going to cause a problem sooner or later. And few of us already told you this on msn before as well.

You know your engine, radiator & gear box isn't in good condition at the moment, so why try to risk "DIY" tuning on a product that you have no knowledge of? How much money you going to save when you have to replace all those parts? :?

If you're not a professional tuner do not play around with settings on your SAFC.

Ever.

guys if you are going to fiddle with settings which i recommend you don't...

borry a EGO or build a A/F ratio meter from a kit ... at least then you'll know if your leaning out the engine too much ... may just stop you from saving that 200.00 to tune it, turning into 3k to rebuild the engine.

thanks smorison, I do have a A/F monitor installed together with the SAFC by the previous owner. How do you tune the SAFC in conjuction with A/F monitor device? How do i read it? the A/F monitor is showing arounf 13.3 when idle. Is that rich or lean?
