Gran Turismo 4 Challenges

Post by Spud »

Ok here is the first challenge...

Arcade Mode - Time Trial - Laguna Seca Raceway

Vehicle: Mitsubishi FTO GPX '97

Rules

1. Stay on the road. At least two wheels on the road at all times (I'm being very lenient here)

2. No assists. Turn off ASM and TSM

3. Tyres: Choose whatever you want.

4. Must provide at least one screenshot of your best time (see my example in the post below). Full replay may be requested if the time given is suspect.

5. Vehicle Colour: Choose what you want but we all know Red goes faster.

6. Power/Weight Ratio: Whatever you want.

More challenges coming soon...

Does GT4 not count the time spent off road and penalise you for it?? :?

Nice time SchumieFan! My first time was just a quickie, an easy challenge for those with less talent than myself  Now I'm getting serious...

As far as replays go there are two ways. Video it or share your GT4 save game replay data. The latter is more technical but can be done via an AR MaxDrive, Xport or GameShark device.

If you have a modded PS2 then all you need is a copy of the software disc and a USB stick. If you want to know more I'll post some instructions.

I presume your using a PAL version of GT4 SchumieFan? If not it doesn't matter I have both PAL and NTSC versions. The only trouble is when sharing replay data memery card saves; PAL saves on work on PAL versions of GT4 only and NTSC saves on NTSC GT4 discs.

Oh and I'd rather work on trust as far as sticking to the road goes rather than playing a game like Forza. But sharing replay data is a far better format anyway

why does it have to be lunch? im sure im gonna get caught drinking at work 1 day.... hmmmm bar and chateau d' cardboard at my disposal....

can they blame chefs for being alcaholics?

its ok ben, i figure all the alcahol youve ingested is probably being stored somewhere in your backup liver... permanantly making you drunk.... u just dont notice because YOU ARE drunk so often.... but what was that frank sinatra quote?

"I pitty people who dont wake up hungover... its the best they will feel all day"

or something like that
