Eratic idle and flat spots!!!

Post by mickey »

This is a problem i have had from day one. Sometimes when the car gets warm and i stop at lights ie. idle it revs hi low, hi low, until i take off again!
Then when i am driving it jerks and flats spots.
I have done a litte research and i am getting told to replace the stepper motor, because i have cleaned it and reset the ecu and it still does it.
Can any one offer any advice??? Thanks guys!

get a brand new replacement one... from a dealer(?) or some place that can order em... the new ones are made of ceramic instead of metal and so dont heat up and destroy themselves
