Well... apart from a heads up that your gonna get burnt badly from members here in regards to your driving techniques.... I can tell you the easiest fix for that mirror.

Take a trace of the mirror glass on the otherside & take it to a glass shop & get them to cut you some mirror to that size (reverse image of course) then just get some liquid nails & glue it into the frame

Ahahahhahahaha, i'm not, that was f**king hilarious :P

I thought it was someone taking the piss, but the fact that it's genuine made me laugh even harder.

What the f**k man, did you hit a bird driving in reverse or something?

those mirrors just clip in, if you can find a wreckers with 1 it would be best cause the top just slides in under those rounded bits at the top then clips in at the bottom, if u wanna get your mirror out just press on the top edge of it and the bottom will flick out again.... hit my mums lancer mirror with a softball :D same design

um... how about the frame that fixing the mirror with the mirror stand? I hv rang Mitsubishi before and they said they got the whole slot which cost 300aud to get a pair or 35aud to get juz the mirror...

Actually i dunno how to evade that bird when driving 170km/h in a single lane road. Normally if I hit it straight away, my windscreen will possibly broke into piece. And also i dunno how that bird smashed my mirror away. I realised my mirror disappeared after 30sec i hit it.

hahaha sorry but it is a bit funny. i done the same thing on the way to canberra . i ran over an echidna clocked at about 170 - 180 and it just went bang up into my guard and ripped out the black thin plastic thing infront of the front wheel behind the bumper.
anyway unlucky bout your fine .. cops are knobs. they should make the highways here unlimited like in germany  and N.T   then u can do a mivec trip from syd to canbera in 1 hour 8O

No, the sure as f**k shouldn't do that. The sections of the Autobahn which are unrestricted (only to certain classes of car mind you) have perfect quality tarmac and wider lanes. The reason the German goverment gave these sections an unrestricted speed limit is that it's almost safe to do so.

The road from here to canberra is sh*t house, not split lane and sometimes only one lane wide. There's also the added danger of high levels of wildlife traffic.

Could anyone who regularly sees the happy side of 150km/h check out there windscreen? Mine is poc-marked to hell! There's tiny craters all over it (no cracks, just craters) and i'm thinking I picked up a lot of those on the way home from Nelson's Bay; made it back in a cool two hours (three and half going up).

In a case like this I'm glad police are out there doing their jobs, I'd hardly call them knobs for fining someone who's genuinely breaking the law.

Well, I personally think it's a bit waste of your car if you don't have a try to boost up in the highway, :) at least once. although it is dangerous. Juz like the smokers, smoking is unhealthy but still lots of them do it.

I agree however I wouldn't call a cop a knob for doing their job if you happen to get caught that's all I mean. Hell I speed with the best of em and am just lucky not to get caught.

nah only calln them knobs cos theyr dumb . they tried to deffect me for my standard GPX spoiler 8O . and for having a mp3player with the colour screen changing with images 8O thats why theyr knobs.
but i do agree of the speeding laws here u have a point there.. but u goto atleast flog your car if u own something decent . what would be the point of geting your car quick ( i know for track ) but no one uses for track. my boss owns a brand new 200grand maserati ..he didnt buy it to go on a track and race others . ..just would be a waste to buy a fast car... everyone would be driving toyota echos. if no one liked to drive fast lol.
sorry im just a speed freak

i didnt post a pic of my spedo thats the other guy 8O . iknow speedn kills no need on the lecture. i do think cops r knobs. they have big heads they think they can do anything they like. iknow a few cops theyr top blokes who dont love themselves. but the older ones think they own the country or something. i wasnt refering to the speeding(when i said theyr knobs because of speeding) .. i was refering to the poor guy getting a fine while he was talkn to his mate. thats a bit stupid. they can be wankers like that cos they got nothing else better to do than to pick on everyone..theyr tried to give me a fine for having a standard gpx wing on my car and for the light on my stereo. my car is in top shape road wise. tyres lights etc everything perfect. but they just like pikin on everyone with an import like wanks and for them to try and deffect me for this reason i didnt drive stupid or do any burnouts or anything to get pulled over for them to pick on i was simply driving home at 6am just finished worked takn it stead doin 60. and u get pulled over " bla bla have u had any drinks . no ." ok done a chekover tyres , rego etc brakes all ok . lights . cop say . i do have to give u an infringement the wing on your vehicle is actually illegal and from what i can see your cd player lights is too bright. that why i think theyr knobs .if they pulled u over for the same situation . you would think the same . ive only 180 1 time. shittin my self .but in my opinion i do think the highways in nsw are preety good for australia and i rekon they should be bumped up to 130 kms it use to be 120 yeas ago and its now 110. i do agree speeding does kill but it all depends on the condition of the drive or the car but only if the drive is unexpirenced, if the car is a piece of crap . and if he is under the influence.or really tired. in wich most cases thats why there are accidents happen.
i dont do 180 from A to B. if thats what your thinkin im doing. but when drivn on like a big highway straight and theres no cars . like the big stretch on canbera highway . of course your gonna wanna try and see how your car goes fast. but then when u reached the point where u think ok thats enuf u slow back down to the speed limit.. u see p platers in comodores doing 260 8O
i dunno but thats my 2cents

Speeding fine was acceptable, however "Perform Unsafe U-turn" that one was damn unacceptable. I didn't do the U-turn but that policewoman juz said i am trying to do that... then gave me a fine of $173...

Not to mention their drivers are usually better than ours....they have a more difficult licensing system in terms of acquiring your license.

Driving is a privelege, not a right. 8)

You better tell me the next time you're heading down here!
