just substitue NZGAMES for FTO Australia and your sortednzgames is a fast moving car driven by cinclant's mmorpg (on which one side boy racers have painted some flames, and on which the other pretty much everyone else has painted porn - but this is irrelevant at the moment) that's travelling down a narrow road with lots and lots of telegraph poles at the side of it. For the most part everyone actually gets along ok despite being squashed into a relatively small space (inside the car, this is) - but once in a while someone new comes along and sits on everybody's lap. if it's a girl / sex unspecified, everyone shifts uncomfortably to allow for their erections, until it's established what kind of girl she is [ a) normal b) attention whore / prick tease c) cookie ] at which point said erections can decide whether to subside or follow her to all new threads and follow up each post with something supposedly witty in the vain hopes that one day she'll turn around and go 'you know that thread you posted in? that was awesome can i send you some webcam pics'.
if it's a guy, there are notably less erections and more ambivalence (at best). but people usually, for the most part, good naturedly shuffle around and try to make room as long as it's not hyper or SoOFaA and his gang of arabic hackers.
things get boring sometimes in the car because the main topics of conversation are getting your 2$ back, whether auckland is ok, how to pronounce jeff sichoe's name, and to a lesser extent, how many of the current threads on the front page should actually be in 'random thoughts'. but once in a while, a newbie sticks their head out of the car to say something stupid, and gets half of it caved in by a passing telegraph pole. at first it's really amusing and breaks up the boredom, and people have a good laugh about it, despite being covered in blood and brains. but sometimes the newbies carry on repeatedly sticking their head out the window and getting their brains bashed in, and it loses its amusement factor, until it gets really quite frustrating, because it reminds people just how stupid the rest of the world is when not regulated by CCS.
my point is, you seem to be one of these people that insists on constantly sticking your head out the window and talking shite and by now people are just bored of watching the 'hilarity' ensue.
it's not because you're a tall poppy.
