Hi Guys, my engine looks pretty sh*tty, performs well but looks old. What can i do to do the following:
Clean the aluminium (main part of engine)? particular the pipes that come from ehind the mivec cover...
Clean/Repaint/Replace the mivec cover...
Clean/Repaint the body of the car that is inside the engine bay (the paint has faded and kind of gone grey (car is white)...
Should i have the engine steam cleaned? has anyone done this? i would love to clean the entire under body of the car too...
i will post some pics when i take some of the engine bay to show you what i mean...
Cleaning Engine Bay...

Windex for Chrome bit & WD40 for everything else. And it should come up like this. (This was took 3wks after I clean it up). Learn this from Lee (Vic's famous FTO mechanic for those who don't know)

Its just an earthing kit & not a volt stabilizer. Cost me $40 bucks & the head lights are brighter & the voltage is more steady (according to the digital reading of the RSM)MrFT000 wrote:kev, how do you find the vault stabilizer kit you have there??
Worth it you reckon?
