Advance Driving

This topic has been on for ages but does anyone want to do it because i am, and could anyone organise one? 8O

Cost would probably be a bit of an issue, but if there were enough interested ppl maybe the club could organise something. Ill bring it up at the next meeting.. :D

Come to the track day on the 25th Feb. 8)
That's a good driver training opportunity i gurantee you will learn. :lol:

But seriously we should try and organise a private booking towards the middle of the year, like the WA guys have in the past.

Where do they normally hold these advance driving courses? Do you take your own car?

Most advance driving course require your own car, which is a good thing, as you learn what your car can or can't do in a simulated accident situation.

I did mine with Murcott

Yeah i don't mind to do it again, as i've done it with my other cars but not with the FTO.

just dont mention u were on a racecourse when u did it! take your numberplates off!!!

(some insurance companys have people taking down plate numbers at courses)

You in a fully controlled environment, so it’s very hard to stack it against the wall, you probably stack against loads of cones & buckets (the real one, not Pete) heheehehe
