carbon JPY 32,000
Fibre glass JPY 20,000

Total JPY 504,800
AU 6,672

Bozz Speed

front bar JPY 100,000
rear wing JPY 65,000

total JPY 165,000

Kaze Aero Craft

Bonnet JPY 100,000
Front Guards JPY 80,000
Side Skirts JPY 60,000
Rear Guards JPY 90,000
Front Bar JPY 90,000
Rear Bar JPY 90,000

total JPY 510,000
AU 6741

Yes I know it cost an arm and a leg basically and that's not including the shipping, import etc (which is estimate arounf 1000). So here's what's happening if it anyone is interested. Depending on the part and numbers required we are importing one and then get it copied.

THe cost of copying a front bar is estimate around 400 dollars.

The next stage now is who would folk out for the kit or should we split between to get the one original for copying.

Oh yeah Miky yes they can import the kansai wing as well. If you are interested I give you further details on Saturday at the meet.

yeah i reckon we should all chip-in for the overall costs and then split the costs accordingly.

For example, if a front bar costs $1K and there are 4 ppl interested, then we'll have to make 3 copies which will amount to $2350 incl the original bar (assuming that the front bar will cost $450 to reproduce). Whoever keeps the original bar will obviously have to pay slightly more (say 30-35%) and the rest of the overall cost will be spread evenly amongst the other 3.

So, in a nutshell:

Original bar: $1000
Cost of copy: $450 each
No of ppl: 4
No of copies req'd: 3

$450 x3 = $1350
$1350 + $1000 = $2350

30% of $2350 = $705 <--- whoever pays this amount keeps the original bar
($2350 - $705) / 3 = $548.30 <--- whoever pays this amount gets the copied bar

NB: just bear in mind that the cost of freight, paint and fit has not been included yet. (freight/shipping costs should be divided evenly for everyone).

it's still relatively expensive (even for a copy), but it's still a damn sight cheaper than paying for the original item by yourself! as you can see, the more ppl are interested, the cheaper it will be!

...does this make sense or seem fair to yas??
