went to tyrepower pro today and got some quotes on the 235/R45/17
asked for the maxxis - didnt have any in stock
anyway, i got quotes for Toyo and Dunlop
Toyo = $195
Dunlop = $215
and for bridgestone, didnt even bother lol considering 16's wer $250 alone
Now im wondering, is R45/17 right? or should i go for something with a lower profile... like R40?
I dont wanna have my baby looking like a monster truck when they are on - not planning to lower my car anytime yet bcos am waiting for the kit to arrived and fitted first
Any suggestions/tips will be appreciated (newbie )
R45 will give you a better comfy ride, while the R40 will let you able to lower the car just a tiny bit more for the looks.
I normally use 215/45/R17 at the front & 225/45/R17 at the back. Currently running 205/55/R16 for an experiment heheeheh

anywayz, after everything - the rims/tyres/brands etc etc, i finally got my order in and am getting the wheels fitted next week, will post some pics once they are done
Anyway if you want some good priced tyres I heard some good things about handcook or wotever...seem to be priced well under the bigger names..my buddy bought some for his 350z and they seem to handle nice..they were half the price of the rest...
