Owned outright - Hubby won $5k on the Friday night, I had it spent by Sunday on my FTO (+my old car of course)!

Owned outright... didn't even need to sell my previous car before hand
...but I did have to borrow money for the 1st year's insurance from my sis
Payed her back in a month

And I bought it almost 3 years ago, when they were heaps expensive (*ahem*....23 grand) - before foreign exchange students started borrowing from daddy & then hocking them off for next to nothing before going home!!
