It's not the garage you should be naming...it's your car! She's the one that passed!

Well done btw :D

Thanks Bishi! She failed last week and nearly cost me a packet but Classic Autos know their business (and I like the prestigious name). When I turned up looking worried and asked if she passed he just siad "Of course"

Anyway - she's got a name thanks 8)

Hey man GoldFTO - it's hey Girl actually (Gigi's a girl don't you know  )

Anywho - what's all this defect sticker business about down under - you got cops picking on your cars and slapping stickers on them?
Are they real police or like the style police and put "defect" stickers on when you've got some bad styling mod on your car? (not that i'm saying you have as I haven't seen your FTO :D )

OOO damn im so so sorry Gigi i didnt know that you were a girl...sorry!!

nah they defected my steering wheel and had no rear seat belts...but fixed them and installing new brakes, new rims, new tyres, new bracket for my tunnel and put my old stock pedals on!!!

so i should be ok with the adealide cops but they are always picky on sport cars and espically when im a P plater..:(

i also need to find a spare tyre to put in my boot until they check it over:P

Sounds like you're going to be busy for a while.
Defected your steering wheel 8O what was wrong with it?
Was asking one of your fellow country men who works with me over here in pom land about "defecting" cars as i'd never come across it before so he's enlightened me.
Said you don't have yearly MOT's to pass on your cars but instead the cops do spot checks and "defect" you if they don't like anything - is that about right? Surely they don't put a dirty big "Defect" sticker on your car though do they?

yep pretty right. they can pull u over if they dont like anything they slap a yellow sticker on the windscreen with "defective vehicle" plastered on it ,also called a canary coz of the color of the sticker

I'm the same as cook.....I've driven past police hundreds of times in convoys of modded cars and I never get a second glance.

Only time I've ever been stopped is for an RBT.

Now that I don't have to display my P plates (still a P plater though) I get weird looks when people realise how young I am and what I drive. :D
