What about the driver?
Cheapest way to reduce weight is http://www.jennycraig.com.au, 10 kilos for $10.
Do Ralliart have light weight suspension options for Evo's that may be cross compatible with the FTO? (I know Sti do for the WRX)
Cheers
Chris

The question that i would ask would be why would you want to strip the car to the extreme..
Sure the answer would be performance, and you would feel the difference...
I have stripped my car also, not all the way but enough to notice difference, and it was noisy, smelt of fuel, looked good.. and it was fun, but the comfort factor just wasn't there, especially in my loud car.
I would only strip a car to the extreme if:
a) i was doing very regular track work
b) the car was not used as my daily driver
c) i had lots of money to spend on other performce parts
d) i was a good enough driver
I don't know but it took me a a considerable amount of time to strip and put all the bits back in.
If your looking to do track work, then your skill alone can improve the lap time by a number of seconds.
A proper racing fual mixture can also help. And tyres save literaly seconds.
At the end of it, I say strip your car, but not to the extreme unless you are dead set serious about it.
Ofcourse there are smart things that you can do in order to save weight, like look at lighter speakers etc.. and go to Jenny craig..
That's about it, from my perspective anyway... i don't even know what the actual topic was

I agree. The FTO doesnt have many specific, heavy things. Besides the bonnet and doorsBoris wrote:The question that i would ask would be why would you want to strip the car to the extreme..
