What's Your Other Car

Post by dstocks »

For those of you with 2 (or more) cars, what are they???. Just having an idle moment and was wondering what other cars the FTO community are prepared (or not) to be seen in.

I know Bennoz has a Mini.

I have a VRX Magna.

What do you have???

Well... Technically the car belongs to me AND my father, and it isn't exactly going yet... But bugger it... It's a second car...

We're rebuilding & customising a 1932 Chevrolet Roadster into a Hot Rod! Chassis is complete & all panels are ready & primed awaiting trimming & paint...

Suspension is ready to go on, still deciding on wheels though...

Interior is taking it's time unfortunately... Having trouble getting trim & seats... All custom dash & gauges...

Engine is a 2nd hand 350 Chev currently being rebuilt...

Hoping to have it ready for an annual Hot Rod meet here in Townsville mid next year...

Well since I don't have an FTO any more :( , my current car is a 1987 Ford Laser Ghia. And funnily enough I have another car as well - a 1986 Mitsubishi Mirage CX-Si. Woohoo go me

In fact the Mirage has a stuffed gearbox, and I only bought the Laser because it was cheaper to get a whole new car than to fix the gearbox

So now I have two cars which are probably worth $1000 combined and have nearly half a million kms between them!

It's gone :( - now carless...
