just wondering if anyone would be interested in a group buy for a carbon fibre heat shield. its 150$ + postage to anywhere in oz.we'll make a quick group buy. just add your names and say in 2 weeks get it up and running.

Which heat shield you talking about shue? I hope is not the fan shroud, as there are no heat generate from the front, so they don't block any heat, they are just decoration, & it will actually blocked air intake if you still got the original piping & plastic air scoop.

But i do notice lots of FTO don't have the plastic air scoop (not your original intake pipe) which is located behind of the front bumper, so you might not notice.

I just want to clear things up, before people thinking it will cool the temperture down. It does look good, & really tidy up the engine bay. :D

it is the fan shroud. and yes it is more an engine dress up than anything .

I know its a little of topic but can you source a CF airbox? if so will get the cf fan shroud ...

im gettin a cf airbox made up for my car but yea im getting a 4.5 inch intake pipe made up as well. if your using a custom made one i would probably need a pic of it to make an airbox to suit it. im figuring the safest bet for u is to stick to the stock intake pipe with a pod filter. let me know your toughts.

atm yes, its only cf. could ask him if he makes a fibreglass one.

hey,
had a chat with the supplier , hes waiting on his supply of cf to come over to start on these, expecting them to be here by end of next week and as soon as hes got it he'll make me the fan shrouds to start off with. for now the list is

i'm getting an airbox made for myself and Anubis (mate get back to me about the design u want it in and if your using a modified intake pipe, send me a pic of your engine bay) . if anyone else wants cf stuff as well let me know coz i can get them for u anytime.
