Apexi Exhaust

Post by rnbboi »

Hey guys,

I currently have an Apexi exhaust on my car, and I want to get a silencer for it to reduce the noise a bit so i can listen to my system and to let my neighbours sleep in more

But the problem is, I have no clue what model my Apexi exhaust is and dunno what size silencer or brand to get that will fit. Not sure how big the tip is...

Heres a pic of it that I found on the net, but thats about all i could gather:

Any help would be appreciated.

All you have to do is measure the inner diameter of your muffler tip, & then go to any performance place and ask them for an Apexi silencer that fit into your diameter. From memory they comes in 90mm & 100mm, & i think yours is 100mm

I got mine from autospeed.com.au, but they don't sell them anymore.

Just took a diameter measure of the exhaust, its like 12.5cm.

Thats so weird to me... Had a look at the Apexi silencers on http://www.modyourcar.com.au/?cPath=9_68 and all they have is:

75mm, 90mm and 115mm.

well i guess you just have to try the 115mm as you have to leave space for the screw & nut.

might swing pass some exhaust place, performance shops and c what they recommend.

dont wanna exactly spend $$$ and wait a week or two, then fitting it and finding out it doesnt fit/work
