New logo - some homework for you folks

Post by Bennoz »

Ok guys,

Im in the process of reviving our club merchandise. I am getting a number of products made (more info on that shortly) but for the moment, I need a new font for our FTO Australia logo. Download the pic below (the one without any writing underneath it) and see what you can come up with. Some examples are below.

There are 2 options:
1. FTO logo with "Australia" underneath it.
2. FTO logo with "Club of Australia" underneath it

Post your best 1.
If you have more than 1 that you like please email them too me.
Best ones will win prizes - one that we choose to be the logo wins a better prize! If you really like one of the example, just tell us that too.

Maybe we should try to find out that which font has been used for the FTO logo, and then use that font for other writing.

I did think about that, but my graphic design skills are limited to say the least. We'd have to find the font first - If it exists...

I am about 70% certain that the FTO logo is not based on a particular font so you will have to use your imagination

Any reason for 70%?
i reckon if he was 80% sure he'd say 'more then likely'
if it was 60% he'd say 'probably'
but 70% must be one of those "no words will accociate with it" numbers

thus im 70% certain im real bored at work
Whats an FTO?

I'm sorry, but I really think we should change that sign to kilometres, not miles, I mean we are all living in a modern country, it's not like we are back in the stone age, like the poms for example.

Buy me Photoshop and teach me how to use it and I will :P
