Alternator or Battery or ???
Hi all,
Im having a slight problem with the battery/alternator or something else. It seems like my battery will lose charge really quickly. EG I left my head lights on for about 10 mins and the battery was dead! Also little things discharge the battery really quickly.
Is there anyway to test the battery or alternator to see whats wrong?

Sounds like the battery is shot - if not, the alternator not charging it.
Get yourself a multimetre & run some tests - current coming out of the alternator & check the voltage across the battery. I cant remember the best spots to do it. Alternatively call the NRMA & get them to do it...
Either way they will tell you within seconds of testing what the problem is
