My car have the tick tick tick noise when idle, anyone has this poblem?

its just tappets thats loose
not a big deal
how many kms on your car?
fix it when u do your major service

More importantly is it a GPX or a GR?

GPX tappets (what's ticking) are adjustable, GR tappets are hydraulic and can only be fixed with removal and cleaning, or replacement.

yep thats the trademark of Mitsubishi, it the same for almost all the mits model, bloody tappet, even after your adjust it, it will come back after 3-4 mths.

also, the noise it makes depends on the grade of oil u use, the more synthetice, the quieter it will become, however, the more synthetic the oil, the more regular the change should be, say, every 3000ks intead of 5000ks non synthetic. i run Shell Helix 10w40. good all rounder.
