R Spec MVC85X controller - how to use this thing?

hi, i just bought my fto. its got a mivec hand controller (R Spec MVC85X ). Its got a function by which u can change the number of cylinders in use. how do i find this function and how do i change the number of cylinders through mivec controller? please help.

THANKS HEAPS FOR THE SITE. The site that you have given me is for some other miver controller. my mivec controller is different from what that site has. its model number is R Spec MVC85X. do you know where i can find a manual on how to use this controller. thanks again for helpin

The manual for your mivec controller is no longer availible, i thought this would be similar to yours & it might help. Sorry mate :oops:

Just a note, to set the cylinders etc, push both the arrows together and to exit the setup mode push the other two together.

doesn't mivec controller just slow down your car?

Not neccesaraly. Only if you change it to an obsurd Rev point.
I leave mine on stock.

Or say when your gf drives, change it to 8k :lol:

woah thanks people. this forum is awesome. found that my cylinder was setings in ma mivec was stuck at 4 when it should be 6. now i've changed it back to 6. thanks heaps. now get ma exhaust done for max power.
