Resignation.
As of the 12th September, 2005 i am resigning as president of the club. For a while now i have been struggling with conflicting requirements for my spare time, as a result i have not been able to put the time required into the club. It is important that this club continues to move forward and grow, i am no longer in a position to provide guidance on the direction nor the time required to manage it.
I will continue to sponsor this site and play some sort of role i'm sure however i'm resigning my position as President as i no longer have the time to dedicate to this club.

Sorry to hear you go bro
On behalf of other members I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate you for all your time & effort that you had dedicated to this club & forum through out all these years. We will never forget the time at Mallacoota, where we talk load of sh*t & drink till we fall on our faces. And all those time you had spend lots of blood & sweat with UAS to develop new performance parts for the FTO.
No doubt we all have our differences & idea of how club/forum should be, but most of those differences had been solved by one thing.
And that’s the Passion for our FTO.

i'm not leaving
on the weekend our crew qualified for sailing world championships, its taken two years of practice to get this far... and there's more work to get there we will be racing in January... don't expect to win or do extrodinarily well as we're competing against olympic and other champions but its still an achievement to actually get there.
This happened in "sunny" "warm" melbourne
i'm still racing the FTO from time to time and working with UAS to build stuff (my car's finally getting the brake upgrade kit fitted this week)...
my decision is based around not wanting to see this club suffer from my other committments and its probably a decision i should have made a while ago...
Kev: thanks mate, i never took anything personally, don't worry about it.
