New FTOWA Article - Adjusting MIVEC Air/Fuel Ratios

Post by RichardH »

I've just uploaded a new article to ftowa.com - "Adjusting MIVEC Air/Fuel Ratios":

http://www.ftowa.com/html/workshop/workshopart11.html

It's an in-depth look at a way to gain a measure of control over the mixtures in the MIVEC rev range. Some interesting results!

Enjoy!

Great work Rich. Very interesting article.
One questions here;
Is it possible to use a DFA only in non-mivec range to improve the low down torque?

Yes indeed. Just wire the relay so it bypasses the other way. Perhaps I can fit a switch to set it one way or the other.

I may just try it! Perhaps there is some gain to be had running an altered mixture below 5400rpm.

You'll have to look out for "Part II" of that article, I guess!!! :D
