obviously seeing a car worth a good $40k sold for $27k i jumped at it.
1st weird thing, i couldnt call the #, it didnt exist, the contact number wasnt a typo, because its the same both on tradingpost and carsale.com, the price was correct too.
2nd weird thing, i emailed the person and the replied looked like a pre-typed, copy-n-paste job,
and 3rd weird thing, the content of the 2 lengthy emails i got as a reply. brief quotes below:
" I believe you should know that for now i'm in Rome, Italy with the car"
"The reason why I want to sell this car is that I realised that the import and register taxes are very high here in Italy so i prefer to sell it and buy another car. It is AUS street legal, so i can't find a buyer hare in Italy ,or in Europe because they don't like the car prepared this way" ~but he already took it with him over there?!
