Just a heads up kids, if anyones doing a refresher on their suspension at the moment, Camskill have front droplinks on sale at the moment for 39 pound (that includes 17.5% Vat which we dont pay.) I just ordered a set - cost me $106 landed in Aus. http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php?plid=m3b0s10p151
If you having a knocking noise or other weird noises in your suspension, you might need to change them. Also, I think you should change the bushes in the same time too.
These ones are universal for any FTO front - Im putting them on my GR.
The rear ones are different I beleive. Also, rear ones differ if the car is lowered as well - they're shorter in length.
*Edit* as Max said, should not just replace droplinks. Im having all bushes done as well
Ok, you had me a bit befuddled for a while there...
The go is: The front arms connect to the chassis in 2 places, so you need a front bush set (2) for each arm - which is this one: http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php? ... 6f05c72460
You will need that one.
Then you need the rear bush for the front arm. There are 2 different types, first is the standard one: http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php? ... 6f05c72460
You will need this one - or alternatively the one below. Choice is yours.
You could go for this one as an alternative that gives you more castor (Easyiest way to explain castor is to look at your front strut from the side of the car - more castor angles the bottom of the strut closer to the front of the car. It will increase your steering stability & accuracy. I am going with this type. http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php?plid=m3b0s10p560
The one you listed on Ebay is for the the anti roll bar bushes - you will also need that one - this is the Camskill equivalent: http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php?plid=m3b0s10p204
If you are going with the poly bushes on the front arm, I would recommend being consistent and using poly one on the roll bar as well - rather than stnd rubber ones from Ebay. Otherwise you will have bushes with different stiffness & rebound rates.
All in all 3 items you need. Front bushes for front arm (2 per side of the car.) Rear side bushed for the front arms (stnd or extra castor types) and finally anti roll bar bushes...
That brings the total to over AUS$300 just for front bushes and droplinks.
Expensive than I thought.
Group buy perhaps? hahahhaa
Hehehe, and I bet your thinking - bags not me again!
Im not actually going to order the bushes through Camskill, I was going to get them through Whiteline - heaps cheapers than the poms gettem, cause they manufacture over here. Its just the droplinks that are cheaper thru the poms.
I wont know exactly how much & what part numbers they are until next Wednesday (when the works being done) but as soon as that happens I'll be sure to post them up (and hopefully a mod will sicky it!)

thanks!
No worries, will do - I'll give u all a blow by blow / peice by peice breakdown.
Along with bushes & droplinks, the other items that is notoroius for wear that im replacing is the rubber strut top mounts. But if you know what im like, looking through that Camskill website... like a kid in a candy store! I ordered these as well... couldn't help myself:
I'll get standard rubber replacement prices as well. I belive they are common to the Mitsubishi Mirage.
Well, I got my droplinks ($90 - Front only) and Pillow Mounts ($350 - Front only as well) But this is the third week I've had to break my appoinment with my mechanic to get the bushes & put them in. Last 2 times was work related, this time was awaking one morning *after very big night on the turps* to find my mobile phone floating past me in a pool of Bourbon & Coke.... an expense I didn't need Am hoping to reschedule to next week.
