I was referring to both. The back definately, and the front looks lower than when I had the stock 16".

Looks like a good height anyways, not too high or too low.

Maybe you're getting scrapes because of the Veilside bumper, which is a lot lower than stock ones already.

I think it could be his thick tyre profile just filling in the gap more.
was it 225/45 if im not mistaken?? that will defintely give you inaccurate speedo readings anyway...

when i had standard height with bozz speed front bar i was still scraping everywhere...

lowered now -40mm at the front, with standard front bar, i scrape less than my first car! actually i have yet to encounter any major scrapage!

i think its perfect height for fto with standard front bars if scraping is a big issue for you

Looks good Eric. Do you go to UNSW by the way? My brother has seen your car a couple of times in the vicinity.

Yes, I have succumbed to lowering my FTO. Getting a set of RS*R Ti2000 down suspension fitted next week.

Now I got to be extra careful with humps and bumps....especially with my Apexi muffler. Dang, the hassles you go through to make you car look good! Wished I had the pneumatic suspension setups on the V8 Soarers! They are amazing.

what it be good or bad?

currently im stock and everyone has said that front is higher by 25mm

From my understanding of suspension dynamics, lowering the height of the car increases the preload of the springs at the front, which will increase the weight on the front tyres (However it won't really disturb weight distribution).

However you'll have less suspension travel, so you be careful you don't bottom out and damage your shocks =) Also the suspension will act differently at the limits as it will more than likely give you the apparent feeling of stiffer suspension as the suspension's preload has increased.

Well that's off the top of my head, but I'm no expert =)

so your saying its ok provided that i have new front shocks to handle lower springs right?

what im more worried about is that will it be ok in terms of handling. would it be dangerous etc? because most people lower front 40 and rear 15 - 40mm

reason i ask is that i drove my friends fto lowered and his scrape his rear going out of the drive way

so im just thinking of lowering the front a bit since the gap in the front is higher then the back....

thanks
