The site domain had expired and the site owner wasnt contacted to renew so they are looking for a new domain host as we speak.

For the rotors give Perth Brake Parts a ring on 9451 9455 as they stock them.

Yes, it's been one very long week now, and we're still not back up!

Mark is banging his head against a brick wall, it seems, as he tries to get the wonderfully incompetent registrar to do anything! See excerpt below...

-----------------
Subject: RE: Registrar lock removal confirmation email for ftowa.com
...
Despite my confirmation that this unlock request should be granted, it is still on and I am still unable to transfer this domain. The site has now been down for 5 days awaiting this request and this needs to be resolved as soon as possible!!!!!

Could you please update me on the status of this.

Regards,

Mark

Until the old registrar gets off their arse, the site is in limbo.

Thats no good at all Rich, Shouldnt Melbourne IT or Australian Domain Names be able to sort this using the domain key?
I didnt think you needed anything from the original registrar to move a domain or they would never allow you to leave their company.

We're back now! :)

Mark did actually give up on the original registrar completely, and just bulldozed through a new/renewed registration from the looks of it.

I got 5 days worth of emails all in a flood! hehe. Stuff older than 5 days or so got 'delivery failed' back to the sender, so I lost some stuff... including some pics coming my way of the last MC day! Curses...
