I change my muffler 2 times already, first one can't even fit a silencer in, 2nd one can but too lazy to screw it on so it pop out on a highway during mivec ... i know i sound stupid ah
Well wouldn't be cheaper just to get another silencer??

Well I suppose this could apply to me too, as when the time comes to do my exhaust I'm going to be looking for something that adds the best performance.....while not becoming an overly large, noise making, cannon.
Heck, I happen to love the noise my stock exhaust makes.....a nice gentle pulsing kind of noise.
Didnt Kev say that when he used a silencer he lost like .3kw on the dyno compared to no silencer.... therefore using a silencer really isnt going to make a noticeable difference to your performance gains... just to the noise.
You correct Dave, it was base on the dyno experiment I did, it was running Apexi N1 cat back exhaust system with RPW extractor.
I haven't done another dyno experience since i change to Hi-flow cat, so it would be interesting to see what effect the silencer might have now.
