Hehe, it was awwwesome.
I had my one and only off-track adventure on turn three of my second session.....managed to slide up the hill!
Was pretty eye opening learning how to tell when the car is at it's last bit of traction and how to bring it back into control. Had a few hair raisers up around corners 5 and 6 with my back end coming loose but I managed to reel her back in.
Car went a lot better than I thought it would, tyres stayed nice and grippy until the last few laps (the wet track helped with this). Brake fade wasn't noticeable untill my second last lap. but even then there was still a bit of bite in them.
Will definately do again!!

Was pretty awsome awell. seriously i reckon i you were gonna do this a couple times, you need semi-slicks atleast.
It was one of the best experiances learning about your grip durability and brake durability.
By the end of the day i still was not sure about the limit of my cornering etc.
Need more practise!
Came of twice into the mud.. hahaha.. wet track was certainly challanging, i can't imagine hot tough it would be driving a 300kw atw RWD beast!

haha yeah i know what you mean i normally run at about 85-90% most of the time, and one session i'll push it right past the limit ... which is when i normally come off a few times...By the end of the day i still was not sure about the limit of my cornering etc
pitty they weren't timing it would have been interesting to see wet times...
bucket: you lost your backend???? i think you need to check your tyres and or suspension setup...
are you guys interesting in coming up to Oran Park on the 25th September? i know its a bit of a hike but its a fantastic track and well worth it

The backend wasn't the first thing I lost control of.bucket: you lost your backend???? i think you need to check your tyres and or suspension setup...
I got massive understeer coming into the corner and through the apex, sliding towards the grass, so I touched my brakes and tried to turn.
This resulted in me going arse end out onto the grass....and I know it was arse end first 'cos I remember looking out and seeing the WRX behind me.
Smartarse waved at me too.
