Post by user »

Hey y'all

This is probably come up a hundred times but I've just moved up to brisbane and need a 100K service. I would prefer someone that knows WTF a FTO is. Does anyone have ideas?

Cheers

As always I'll recommend Joe and Riks (Nihon Car Parts) a lot of Brisbane people make the journey to Southport to have these guys work on there car. They have mine at the moment.

on another note about the 100k service, how many hours should it take to replace the timing belt, change the spark plugs and change the break pads?

should take afew hours mate , especially if they are working on other cars etc. the timing belt is a big jog due to the length of it and the the way its intertwined through the gears and stuff. i ended up paying $200 just for fitting it (labour and time) which is apparentely very reasonable considering MITSUBISHI and some other mechs wanted close to $550 for the installation ex. belt($150) :?
