Speed Magazine - Monday 23rd May

Post by MrFT000 »

Well, a lot of you already know, but here is a heads up for all the others who dont.

After several months of waiting and several emails back and forth and a couple of photoshoots later, my FTO will be in the next issue of Speed Magazine (issue 21) as a feature ride.

Ive changed a few things since the shoot which is a pain cause they are things that make the car that little bit nicer...
(new white dials, new gearknob, different headunit)

SO - Let the countdown begin. 7 days. The mag hits the stands on Monday 23rd May, so make sure you get a copy!

FTO's are representin' 8)

Please your already posted like 50 times (ok maybe 20) at the other "Speed" thread, its not like ppl can't read. I swear Grant i'm going to burn all your local newsagent down on the 22nd so you can't even get a copy yourself haahahaha

Seriously you should of ask them after you put in your Recaro, & the rest of the "Rice" so it looks complete. And no i'm not asking you to call them up again & do another one, as i can't stand another 3mths of day counting post 8O

Who else is waiting for their FTO to be published?

yeah I was just gonna update the other thread, but its so many pages long, so i thought i would start a new one.

Its a bit late now to send them updates, the cut off date for stuff was a couple of weeks away..

The Recaros should be in it though.

Race - not rice.

Relax Grant not everyone had their car printed in a mag before, so its only natural for them to "assume" everything is "roly poly"

Magazines do make mistakes... (well the journo)
Also, where does it say in the article that it 'out perform type r's'? It says it can compete with them - not out perform.

Kev, nah i dont know what they came out of originally but they were in another FTO when it came over from japan, and i got them out of it.

needless to say, i personally think the write up isnt the greatest.
The journo didnt even talk to me. He went purely off a tech sheet (in which i had a few people to thank etc) and it didnt get mentioned.

Its like the seats stuff up - if the journo had actually contacted me, he would have got it right.

Also, apparently rumour has it, Speed Magazine is putting out one more issue and then its over for them.
