call the supplier or e-mail asking them who has done it in your area before, they may be able to give you some sort of information

youll have this problem because A) you got a fto and B) you have an uncommon alarm and that makes it risky for anyone who hasnt toughed either before

Well I can see why all these company won't touch your alarm...

1.) From the link you provided, I don't think the alarm you brought is Australia standard; therefore those companies don't want to be liable when it comes to insurance claim if anything happen to your car.

2.) Engine start are illegal, but most people would turn a blind eye, but since your alarm fail point one, I guess this would be another reason why they don't want to touch it.

All alarm works on the same basic principle, all your gadges/toys/features are just plug in, so it shouldn’t be hard for any car alarm installer

The only way you will find a cheap installation is to look up Trading Post, there are lots of private alarm installer who willing to do anything for next to nothing.

Cheers again,

i know part of the prob was cause of if it screws up on me and i go back asking for help, it is hard for them to get any support to back up what they they install seeing as its from US, yet id just be happy if they could prove it worked all correctly when i left, i wouldnt go back complaining.

o and nobody had any probs that it was going into an FTO, thought that might have been prob due to unknown territory to them as well. ...just like insurance companies.

anyway gonna have a look though the trading post, dodgy, but if they dont fry anything in my car and it all works when i leave i will be happy.
