What's the year model of the car?
I'm quite certain it's the JDM-only 1.6l 4G92 MIVEC.

Yep that's it - the 4G92 Mivec. Came factory in a number of Mirage and Lancer body shells from 1993 to recently. Quite popular over here.
Bloody good little engines too - roughly Mitsubishi's equivalent of the Honda B16A.
Here's some pics (from a recent cruise I went on) of some of the cars they are fitted to ... plus me.

i think the 1996-onwards version of the same motor made 131kw (on 100RON fuel of course)
but i have heard many ppl say they are torqueless buggers, in fact one video commentator who was driving the car in a Serious Performance video went as far to say that when MIVEC kicks in, it's nothing but just the noise...

They seem to power those little Gen II Cyborg Mirages quite nicely - two of the ones on the cruise I went on were the stripped out RS Cyborg models, and they were very rapid indeed...
I imagine the performance wouldn't be quite so good on the Lancer sedans they also come in...
