LOCK NUT KEY

Post by HEX093 »

Hey everyone,

I have misplaced the special attachment that undoes my wheel nuts.. and something has come loose in my wheel arch. (I'm not sure exactly what, but it makes a really BAD noise when I turn right).

I'm wondering if anyone in Melb could give me the heads up how to get my wheel off without the special key thing, or someone (in Melbourne) who has the same wheels who could lend me their one for a couple of days, or some general advice as in 'don't worry your wheels may look special but they are pretty common and and very easy to get off the car without that bit you shouldn't have lost.'

They Are: 17" HR Racing wheels, aka http://www.ozzytyres.com.au/wheels_main.php?type=Tuner ozzy racing 032's (except silver).

I'd be happy to find somewhere that can sell me one, or even a garage where they would fix everything without costing me too much.

I would be really happy to hear from anyone via email (he_x@hotmail.com) or phone (0413277256).

Thanks,

-Heather

Ok first of all, wheels & lock nuts had nothing to do with each other. Take a photo of the lock nuts, so if not I then i'm sure someone else can tell you if they are common type of lock nuts or not. Lots of places share couple of common lock nuts pattern (in my opinion its stupid)

If it is, I can get you a replacement keys, if not then it just have to be open the hard way, which mean bye bye to all your wheel nuts, if worst the studs.
