extractors
More like better throttle response down low that horsepower gain.
Heaps torquier below 3000 rpm. Can drag slower cars without using mivec now, just to tease.

oh yeah defintely, he had higher max power.
and no his wasnt the RPW
im more interested in low-end response for everyday driving and fun from traffic lights to lights
so im getting contradicting stories here, simon's car defintely increased in horsepower as can be seen plainly from dyno chart, and his low end didnt seem to improve at all. then elmo says he didnt gain horsepower, but gets better throttle response from below 3000rpm.
so for me i guess i prefer more low end response. i would be interested to see MADFTOs results and comments.
oh and i still gotta get those cruise pics to ya somehow

extractors
Yo G1, the extractors definately make it more drivable down low, but i have no dyno figures for power etc so I dunno about up top.
Your mates are obviously a bit different, or there is another difference somewhere.
Both cars Manual?
Both drivers changed at redline?
Aha, G1 you got big exhaust on your car hey? MMM still doesn't make sense?????
Who thinks RPW should pay to put my car on Dyno and get some figures to back up their product?

yeah i have extractors and FPR....better top end i reckon...dont know about low end....
i raced another GPX without extractors...i think we both had air filter and exhaust though....as i remember it, i had a pretty bad start ...lots of wheel spin with my sh*tty tyres that i had on before...but i caught up pretty quickly once i got traction.....so its hard to tell whether low end was improved cos of my bad start...
took on a prelude with a type s conversion last night too...another win for the FTO

Yeah Elmo, I think RPW should do a test case on your car. It's only for the good of the FTO community right??
I've seen a pic of the FTO stock flex pipe and compared to an aftermarket one, it's definately more restrictive (in stock form). But from what I can gather from the RPW website, it's the length of the headers that determines lower end torque and power across the low to mid range.

flex pipe
See i dont know too much about this back pressure stuff, all i know is that my car is nicer to drive below 3000rpm now and i personally haven't notice that much difference up top, and not through lack of trying hehe
Not just for the good of the community, it is standing by their products.
Everyone here would like to see some dyno results so they know for a fact what these things do. All the words in the world aint nothin compared to some hard facts, like a dyno sheet.
Gonna do it myself eventually anyway but thought it would be an nice gesture to the gang. Unfortunately wont be able to do before and after though but mine is stock except extractors, FPR and RPW cold air intake.
