Previous sale prices of FTOs? What could I expect to get?
Just wondering what I might expect if I wanted to sell up. I'm interested in recent prices sold of modded FTOs in particular. I know that HKSFTO would have gone for around $22K but does that mean any modded FTO without turbo is now worth less or not necessarily? Like would mine be worth $25K minus headunit and plates or am I "dreaming?"

Since scracy didn't advertise his FTO anywhere else apart from here, i guess its save to say you might still able to get at least low $20k, your car certainly unique & look fantastic, but i guess its depends how much the buyer willing to pay what he or she think it worth.
In my opinion, if Scracy wait a bit, it should able to sell for a better price, maybe around high $20k, as lots of people don't have much money left during Christmas to mid Feb, the best time to sell should be around middle of the year where people save a bit of money already, & you also get that end of financial yr sales, & stock takes sales to boost the momentum of consumer buying.
I think yours definately worth around $25k, that because we know how much work is involve to get to the stage its in now, & its not over done with bodykits & neon stuff like some pass FTO.
But we all know lots of people are tightass these days & like to pay peanuts for good quality stuff
so good luck on what ever you decided to do

That pretty much hits the nail on the head. My hope is that someone out there likes it enough to buy it for $25K. I have other plans for the money from the sale but am finding it very difficult to want to sell for less than that...can you be too attached to your car, cause I think I amMrFT000 wrote:But at the end of the day, a car is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

Well we all know the more you spend on a car the more we going to lose, is like putting more money in just to keep it the same value, & that’s how I look at it at the moment.
Every FTO is unique to their own whether is Crap or ACE its still unique, & I know lots of people are selling their with in a few months, its like suddenly the FTO is not worth having anymore, & the market is flooded with them, so I guess the price will drop even more due to the fact everyone want to get rid of their FTO as soon as possible & also lots of tight ass would like to peanuts for a good decent FTO.

Actually i sold my car for mid twentys which i think was a fair price considering the car is nearly ten years old. Not many 10 year old cars would fetch that sort of price though, especially the way the car market is at the moment, new cars are just so cheap! I miss my car though
But alas long live the evo 8 (eventually)
