Hey Guys,
I have read about the weak central locking motors but there isn't much about the symptoms apart from it not working at all.
Sometimes when I press open, the central locking will open then close straight away. It happens about 1 in every 3 times. Closing never has a problem.
Can it be a weak central locking motor? I think it is opening, but not enough so it goes back to closing...
Any thoughts?

yep, it sounds like the motor,
probably oil build up started inside of it.
You can try to clean it, however, this is a temporary solution, will start having problems soon again.
Need to replace the motor.

yeah my passanger door died without warning
i couldnt lock the door, only arm the alarm.
so i ended up pulling the door appart and unhooking the arm from the motor to the lock...
only manual locking for me now
any motors from other cars compatible ? .. something that may be easy to find in a wrecking yard ?
