Help, no idle when cold start

Hi all, we got a non running FTO a little while ago which had been sitting for quite a few years. Got it running finally, however it won't idle unless its warmed up? It also idles quite solidly at 1100rpm. Anyone who might know what the problem is?

Quite likely the stepper motor, common issue and cheap fix. Don't pay over $100 for a new one.

I believe so, I bought 5 or 10 when I got mine from them and flogged them off for about $50 each profit over 6 months.

Seems like someone else is doing the same thing now but from China. Maybe I should get some more and resell in Aus

Got one from Aliexpress, it's a completely different car to drive now (used to try throw me through the windscreen when letting off the accelerator lol) Starts great too, thanks!!
