Hi,
My power steering pump is sounding like a supercharger.
My new PS/AC belt snapped and I think it may be due to the PS pump.
Just wondering if these can be rebuilt rather than installing a 20 year old into the car?
Can power steering pumps be rebuilt?

Pretty sure Vectose told me not long ago that they can be.

Going to take a guess that you have already checked the tensioner pulley and the air con coupler?

I have checked the tensioner pulley. There is some play which I read is normal but either way I have ordered a new one.
Not sure what you mean by air con coupler or how to check this but the AC pulley spins freely.
There is a slight PS fluid leak which from the reading I have done it may be the cause of the noise.
