Unfortunately, you are right. I am getting a lot of interest from young people. Often these people do not read the ad that I am not including a RWC. Also, as per the Victorian law, any car not being sold with a RWC must be unregistered at the time of sale or the seller can will be fined. I have explained this a lot to people and it turns them right off, I have even had to explain it in my add on car sales now

I have sold 2 cars without RWC w/rego and all my mates do the same, never heard of anyone being fined.Cassar2610 wrote:Unfortunately, you are right. I am getting a lot of interest from young people. I even had a mate who sold his car with reg, new owners went on a rampage and racked up a heap of fines, showed proof of sale and all was good.
No RWC really makes things hard. RWC is the biggest scam in VIC... Mechanics use it as a free ticket to make a bunch of money as they know people need the cars ASAP and likely don't have time to fix things themselves.
