Tyre/Rim pairing
Hey Guys, Another question (sorry haha)
I have Lenso SC02 Rims/wheels on at the moment and I am looking to upgrade the
tires since they are kinda sketchy in the wet and i haven't really heard of them before.
I was thinking of going 235/40 or 235/45 in r18's.
The offset if -+45 and 7.5' wide.
The tires on them at the moment are :
Front: Fullway HP108's 215/35
Back: Clear HP166 215/35
I'm looking at Goodride Sport RS, Nitto Invo or re003's.
I've looked at the thread for the Tire bible and few other things I just don't want to buy 17's
because i'm broke haha.
Although if i need spaces or such I'll invest in them.
The car is im lowered springs "rsr"s i think (was lowered by previous owner who got another fto recently!!)
Any advice appreciated !

Re: Tyre/Rim pairing
Definitely don't go the 235/45R18, profile is way too high. Might be able to use a 235/40, but a 225/40 is probably more appropriate for the rim width and will cause less scrubbing issues as well.

Re: Tyre/Rim pairing
Ah cool, ill probably head towards the 235/40 (seems cheaper and in stock),
haha yeah i was a bit like cmon with the name but apparently a fellow fto owner has them recently and is digging them
(hes on 17's , 225,45)
Hoping it wont scrub too much ( will roll and take out guards as necessary)
any suggestions with tires i guess?

They're only 7.5 though. But yeah, if he wants the 235s then spacers probably wouldn't go astray.Vectose wrote:+45 offset on 18s?
